Hey guys,Just wondering what kind of mileage everybody is getting with their CA. SO/48re combo. No BS Please just real mileage with or without a box. If with how much increase did you see. DRW or SRW 2wd trucks.

Thanks Mike

1400 miles and I get 14 mpg. with city driving and a fairly heavy foot - 15 mpg. driving more freeway than stop and go.

i get around 19 mpg on the freeway and no stopping. on the ranch it is pretty much around 14. i have a 4x4 2500 SO 48re w/ 3. 73 gears. i also have a toolbox and fuel tank in the back.

I have a 2 dr long bed 4x4 with 4. 10 gears and 35" tires. I normally get 12-13 around town/highway and 14-16 when mostly hwy. On the long cruises where I burn a tank on the hwy only, about 17-18. I tend to push the faster speeds though and don't baby the go pedal.

I just took a drive from Socal to Sacramento a few days ago pulling my empty car trailer. Got approx 14 mpg (calculated) doing 70-75 mph. Oh yeah, I have the Gear Venders OD too. :D

The return trip had my Jeep on the trailer. Got about 10 mpg coming home doing 70 on average. Hit the grapevine and maintained 55-60 up the hill. Needless to say I was working the Cummins pretty hard. :) Turbo boost hit over 37 and set off the check engine light too.

Sorry, forgot to mention that part. That's with the Power Edge EZ. Edge gives you a special fitting for the turbo too which is making the boost higher.

I used to run the Bully Dog but it was tempermental. It sure had way more power though when it worked.

I have about 6K miles on truck average about 16MPG or slightly less. My lowest was 14, highest was actually the first tank at 17. 6.

I am happy with the MPG, the MA trucks are the same as the CA. The trucks with out the CA/MA emmissions from what I have read here get much better mieage especially the HO six speed models.

Empty and completely stock.....

With 1000 miles on the truck I took it to Vegas and back from Denver averaged 75-80 mph and the computer said 18. 3. I still haven't hand calculated but I bet it's close.

If I keep it at 65 or less on the highway it gets 20-21 according to the computer. Around town I see 16 and I have a hard time keeping my foot out of it:)

I don't know if it makes a difference but I live at 5000+ feet elevation.

Well I guess that the CA. trucks with all their smog garbage do get about 3-6mpg less than the real trucks! maybe Arnold will let the HO in here! Countin the years till I can call this state history!!Keep those numbers comming.

My odometer just turned 1000 miles, and I have been averaging about 15. 6 MPG. No mods, and no towing. 4wd, 4dr, LB, CA-SO, auto, 4. 11:1

Have a 4X4 with 20,000 miles, 3. 73s and consistantly get 16. 7 with 50% city driving. Most I got highway was 17. 5.

Towing 10,000 lbs I get about 10. 9

All MPG are hand calculated and are fairly close to the computer.

There is a huge difference if you go over 65, the MPG really drops.

I just put on an Edge EZ, computer says 22. 5, but I'm anxious to see what it really calculates out to.
