Any one used the filter set up Geno's sells that goes under the windshield ? If so ,does the filter get wet in the rain and does that bother it ?

Geno's sells the OEM kit that fits 2009 to 2016 trucks. I just installed one in my 1500 and it is pretty slick. There are quite a few videos that show how it installs.

What about it getting wet in the rain or car wash ?

I installed the kit from Geno's in 2014 never had problem with water penetration form either rain, snow or car wash, about every 25k I install new filter.
