I have 2 questions about the Cab and Chassis Dana 80 Axles.

1. Are the cab and chassis axles narrower in width?

2. Are the spring perches on cab and chassis axles the same as a regular pick up?

3. Did the cab and chassis axles come with disc brakes from 2001. 5-2002 like the regular pick up axles?

I'm trying to find a Dana 80 with disc brakes to put in my 1995 regular cab 3500 pick up. I'm going to run a flat bed so axle width doesn't really matter to me as long as the spring perches match up. I wondering if a cab and chassis axle will work? Thanks for any help and advice anyone can offer.

1. yes, but not by much. I belive the axles are 1" narrower than the 2500 SRW, and the standard dualy axles are 1" wider than the 2500" if you run 285's and a 2" spacer, it'll look really nice and not stick out a ton.

2. yes

3. yes
