Hi all, I have a 2014 3500 cab and chassis crew cab 4x4 that I want to put running boards on. I keep being told my truck is special and the normal running boards won't work. I measured a friends 3500 crew cab 4x4 and everything measures the same. The only difference I can see is where my def tank is located but it doesn't look like it will cause any issues. Can any one tell me if there is any reason why they won't work? The mounting holes are in the same place, Thanks.

The CC has a longer frame. That's the only difference I know of.

When my hay supplier bought a 2014 Ram 3500 CC, we both quickly discovered that his aluminum flatbed from his 2010 standard 3500 was in fact too short to cover the CC frame.*

The Cab is the same, as well as the front of your frame, being hydroformed then it transitions to the C-Channel under the cab. My 07 C&C has the same OEM running boards, that are bolted to the body under the cab. It's not hard to confirm this, as the cabs are all the same, then installed on various frames.*
