Just traded for a '11 3500 SWR CCLB. It doesn't have the cab mounted clearance lights. Does anyone know if the truck is pre wired for them and if a kit is avalible as on prior models?

My dealer said they would install them on mine for $400 and that the majority of that is labor. If you find out anything on this I would love to know, just does not look like a real truck without maker lights on the cab.

My 06 had the wires in the right A pillar. They terminated in a plug and I just tied into them with a scotchlock.

I think the 2nd set of lights (with the .pdf) is for the 3rd gens. I just checked the Dodge aftermarket site and there are no .pdf directions with that either.

Go up in the right hand corner and use the "contact us" tab. See if they can provide installation instructions before you buy.

Those look nice, but I bought mine from Cabella's and they are yellow. They were $45-50 as I remember. I did have to make my own harness which was not hard. I found the factory harness in the right A pillar and just tied into it. I works just fine.

Might have got lucky. Stopped by Summit Racing in Sparks, NV. today and found a set of Recon clear CCL's for $45 on the return self. They followed me home, I figure for under 50 bucks they will look just fine.

Now if the weather will hold for the A. M. . I'll have them installed.

FYI. . Recon has a great pdf on how to layout the cab lights.
