Cab high steel workcap

Any one out there come across a steel workcap that is cab height?

I found that Reading truck caps makes one but seems to be a few inches taller than the cab. If I can find one I want to weld up a ladder/lumber rack to go on top.

Any photos would be appreciated.

I second the vote for GemTop. I don't have one yet (currently using an aluminum contractor cap), but when the time comes for a new truck it will have a GemTop. I'm planning to custom fabricate my next ladder/lumber rack out of 80/20 extruded aluminum for strength.

We've had the heavy duty GemTop canopies on both the '97 CTD and the current truck. They have lots of options. We get ours reinforced for the electric boat loader. They have several versions--work or the slightly more refined Outfitter series which is what we have. The doors (barn-door style) on the new one don't swing open as wide--kind of an inconvenience when you have the trailer hooked up and are trying to access the bed. This is a heavy canopy--can't just pop it off like with our wood framed aluminum ones!

Another vote for Gemtop

My dad as contractor ran them for years. We had a rack on one of his severely overloaded with plywood and it merely wrinkled the skin a bit!
