Where can I find cab light kits? My friend took the part# off my factory cab lights and the dealer told him, "we can't get them". My friend claims there is a kit that comes with a instructions/template fold-out and also wiring harness for a 94-98 Ram from the factory. I checked a few dealers and they had no idea of such a kit, one place even told me the kit is obsolete and he even showed me. What I understand; all the dealer can get is just single lights alone.

If anyone knows about the cab light kits it would really help us out, thanks in advance. HCanales

About a month ago i purchased a set from my local dealer. They came with everything, template, wires, and all the hardware. This set was for 03' and up and i think they look better than the older ones. Hope this helps.

Try P/N 82205120 at your nearest Mopar counter. I don't know if it's obsolete but do know it's the number for the light kit for your Ram.

The number works at this sight: http://www.worldparts.com/kollerdodge/

Be aware that Mopar parts counters can search nationwide for parts availability, possibly even for obsolete parts. Then it's a matter of a telephone call and a credit card number.

Good luck!

I bought a kit several weeks ago from my local dealership. They had two different kits in stock for different years. I had them order the correct kit

for my year, from dodge, only took a week.

i got a dodge OE kit from JC Whittney for about 40 bucks... ... it came with all necessary items to either rig them up to a switch or into your factory lights so they come on when you turn on your running lights... . hope that helps.

Thanks, We found them (82205120), but, there is also another part # 82207252? I'm thinking that's 3rd generation stuff, does anyone know if that will fit? The 3rd gen lights look to be contoured a little different, but again, I'm not sure what 82207252 applies to.

thanks HCanales

I was told by my dealership that I needed to get my 2nd Gen kit right away (this past spring) b/c it was likely to be discontinued fairly soon.

but i bet 3rd gen cab lights would look interesting on a second gen..... if i could do it over again, i would have bought the 2001 cab lights instead of the 1994-1998 ones... .

I wounder; perhaps it's possible to remove the 94-98 ones and replace them with the 2001 ones. The idea is to just swap them using the same existing holes from the factory. Do you think that would work?

The 82207252 fits the 02(1500)-2005 model trucks. Possibly 06' too, not sure though. I am just going by info from dealerconnect.

I put cab lights from a '98-2000 model Chevrolet on my '99 3/4 ton. I didn't like the "stubby" look of the D/C ones... the Chevy ones are much flatter and look better to me.
