I've been having a problem getting a good ground on the center light on my Maxxima LED cab lights. All of the other lamps have been fine, but the center lamp just cant get a good ground. I've never been a fan of mounting screw grounding devices, but thats the way these are. I'm afraid to tighten the mount screw any more for fear of stripping it out or cracking the bezel. Anyone got any ideas??

The only other Idea I can think of would be to run a separate ground for all lights. This might help or check wire at the lite in question.

I basically ran into the same problem you have been having. I also have a lot of maxima LED lights on the back of my truck underneath the tailgate.

I solved my problem by using a couple of very small star washers between the mounting surface and the back side of the light.

This gives a little better ground becaust the star washers tend to bite into the paint.

Also a good idea to use just a little dab of silicone lube. It will keep corosion out of the connection.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Harley Joe- I'll give that one a try. I have the Maxxima LED lighting all over my truck (gate and rear panels) as well as on my fifth wheel and work trailers. Great lighting- this is the first one I've had give me any trouble my tailgate and rear panels haven't given me any trouble. Thanks!:D :D

SCooby- I'll try and get a pic up soon:rolleyes: but in the meantime they are similar to the DC lights but they are alittle taller I think. They have 16 LED's in the front and another 14 on the top. Look real nice. I have gotten EXCELLENT service from the guys at Parts Systems they have by far the cheapest prices on LED lighting and big rig lights.
