There was a post below about blue clearance or cab lites, what about green lites, years ago one seen a lot of green clearance lites on semis then didnt see no more for a long time but now i am starting to see green ones on semis again. I would like the green cab lites on my Dodge Cummins but wonder about the legality of it.

I don't remember which way they must show but I think RustyJC said amber to the front and red to the rear. He said it as if he knew what he was talking about. I am almost certain they would be illegal in Texas. just my 2cents.

The Texas Driver's License manual is absolutely clear on this (one of the few things I remember from studying for my test some 40 years ago. ) Amber to front; red to rear.

Amber to the front , red to the rear is all that is legal up here in New York State. I would check your Traffic Laws and the DMV or you could be hit with some heavy fines. If the cop really looks at you, you will probably get more paper than you ever hoped for in your life. They have a habit of finding other things wrong, sometimes. Depends on their mood at that particular moment in time. Most of the time they are fair!! Multi colored lights are not worth the hassle!!! Be legal and be safe.
