This is a warning as the OE cab vents are timing out!!! I had at least a quart of water under my drivers side back seat along with under sub woofer. My son mentioned they may be the cause as I already took care of properly sealing the third brake light. You can see the seal on it has cracked. I wonder if the OE had flaps like the new one? If not that’s insane as bugs could easily enter the truck. This is an upgraded part.
Not a bad job. Unbolt seats and move forward one at a time or remove. Pull back the lower left or right corner of the insulation on back of cab and pull away then push out the vent pushing it down with a helper from below guiding it down. Helper push up new vent pushing staying within the areas between cab and bed that allows more room. Once upper person can grab it slide into hole and pull inward until the clips snap in place.
