Had one on my truck, it came off recently. Looks great, however the sheetmetal screws tore big stars into the sheetmetal, then it vibrated like crazy. No damage to Visor (It is a Lund) so it is available cheap! ($50 plus shipping) But I honestly would not recommend it, having to repair the holes and repaint the roof after 50k was not worth it.

Just my $. 02!

I put a lund solar visor on my RAM and an happy with it. The solar visor screws to the inside of your door jam and has sticky pads for the roof so there are no holes and its removeable later if you desire without a roof repair. I have heard stories of cracked roofs because of visors but I think its the type that screw in, I'll watch mine anyway. The only bad thing about the lund I bought was the instructions, these were the worst set I have ever had and none of the pictures were clear or light enough to see what was going on.

Not the same body style but still, I have one. Its a Lund knock off but is OK. There are special fasteners that you are supposed to install with the visor. They are very permanent and require alot more work to install.
The fasteners are the same used to mount spare tire holders on the back SUV's. They are threaded rivots that are clamped into holes drilled into the skin. The rivots are threaded for most standard thread sizes and eliminate the tearing from large lag screws in the metal. They also allow a very snug fit without loosening.
Mine does not have this but wish it did. Most installers don't do this because of the time it takes. Installation is the most common complaint for visors, they shake, leak, rattle or crack.

If the unit in question has the rivet style nuts I believe that it would be fine. Just be careful of any that use sheetmetal screws for installation, as I'm sure that was the rpoblem with mine.
