Inground pool? ya or na

What Do you think it'll cost to...

I am still waiting for the one in Wheatridge (Denver area. )

The downside of the new store is this (from what I've heard):

Even if I buy from them over the internet, and they have a store within the state that the item is being shipped... I still pay sales tax

The theory being that the item is available "in state. " Any truth to this?

Yes, you will have to pay sales tax even if the store is 500 miles from you as long as it is still in the same state.

They have the signs on the building saying "future home of Cabelas", constuction crews have been working on it, and the Idaho Dept. of Labor has been handling job applicants..... so it is really going to open!

It will be a zoo - the parking lot was too small when Costco was in the in the building, and I feel with Cabela's there it will be a giant cluster ----.

Good news is that there is a Hooters just across the street!

New Cabelas are great. I was in Fort Worth not long after theirs opened. I had money from some hunting buddies in Arkansas to pick up a few Elk hunting items. Well, Cabelas had a deal where if you spent $500 you got a gift cert. good for $250.

So, guess who got new 10X42 Nikon Binocks. Told budds that's the price of me making the drive by myself. LOL

Supposed to be getting a Cabelas AND a Bass Pro in Reno! Might have to quit my job and go work there! Oo.

I dunno. I spent considerable time near the Sidney, NE store and have visited the original in Kearney (sp?) twice. I remember when the sidewalk sale and the bargin cave were really good deals. I went to a new cabelas in PA and it is like a friggin Walmart.

Example - for a short while Cabelas carried King of the Mountain wool. Probably the best wool hunting garment you can find. Cabelas told KOM to get their crap to China to reduce costs. KOM told them to screw themselves and Cabelas dropped them. It's this sort of mentality that bothers me. I like the store in Sidney still cause I know several guys there and always see some neat stuff in the gun library but it just seems that the overall quality has gone down and the prices up. I do say their selection is better than just about anyone but I really get the walmart feeling in the new stores...

IMHO.
