Cabela's is a smart company. They feel the economy is bad enough that people will look to sell their prized possessions, guns, to help them get through hard times. The time is right. Need I also mention who is in control of Congress? We are not what we used to be. Totally disgusting!!

Hang on to your guns!!! The fed is going to try to grab em up shortly after they require licence and registration for them and make it illegal to load your own loads etc. They will probably use the "interstate commerce clause" just like they did with public schools and welfare, and social security, and the IRS. Did you know that it is unconstitutional for the fed to tax the individual, they are only allowed to tax the states, but they don't care about the constitution and they site the interstate commerce clause and everyone turns a blind eye. We are fast becoming the Socialist States of America. Hows that for a rant! got a little off subject, sorry.

I might have to go stand outside Cabela's with some cash. Go in and find out what they'll give you and I'll beat it. Do it while it's still legal to have citizen to citizen transfers.

My guess is they want to have guns available in their stores when it gets harder to get new ones. If some of this crap actually sticks, new guns will be the first that are hard to come by.



Guys, I have to tell you, I am scared to death about what will come down the road. I've said it before, if you own only one gun and don't belong to the NRA, do us all a favor and join. You may not agree with everything they do, but they are about the only "big" voice we have. The antis are salivating. #@$%!

I have never been in a Cabellas store, not sure if they normally have a used selection, but around here there are no used guns in the shops! Talk with the shop owners and they say they might get 1 used gun in a week for resale... .



My guess is Cabellas is hoping that publicity will bring in more people who want to sell, will also bring in those looking to buy since you just heard they bought a bunch.



The other day my wife decided to join the NRA, renew me sign up her dad too. She hasn't even shot a gun but knows that she wants to be able to when she is ready.

the one here has a large selection of used guns, maybe 5 double height double sided racks of long guns out where you can play with them and a good sized secure room with the high end stuff and pistols, they have pretty much always had it this way here
