How does the parking brake work on these trucks?

Just like any other set of drum brakes
Yep, there's a drum and brake shoes in the rear... of course, they're a tiny little set, maybe 6" or so in diameter, that's used just for the parking brake. The disc brakes do the actual stopping.
As far as I know, only GM went with the complex caliper with rotating piston to allow a cable-operated pedal to actuate the rear disc brakes

Is this the parking brake cable or something else? It is rubbing on what appears to be the brake line guide bracket.
I've already decided to show it to the dealer service department, but I wanted the experts' opinions first.
which model's have that feature? [parking brake integrated with brake caliper]
