Hello,
I have an interesting problem with the CAD on a 97 I worked on for a friend. Truck has all new CAD assembly, New hsg, new vacuum motor, new fork, the whole works. I replaced all this for him about 2-3 weeks ago(we had talked about the cable conv, but he wanted to keep this for simplicity sake
). He said it worked perfectly for about 2 weeks, then quit.
After much investigating, I found the vacuum motor shaft to be bent. It's bending right at the 1st e-clip groove past the motor. Problem is, can't find out what is bending it? There doesn't seem to be much play in the axleshafts, the shift collar engages/disengages ok. Any ideas? I searched the archives but didn't find anything that helped. Thanks
Steven
