I installed a Diablo Power Puck on the rig last Friday afternoon. I immediately got a CEL and P0237 error codes. Just like when I had the Edge EZ on it a few years back. (Once the EZ was removed, the CEL went away.)

So, I swabbed some of the Caig Dexoit Miracle Elixer on the pins in the connection and seated/re-seated them multiple times. Once I cleared the codes with the scan tool, the error codes never came back.

I don't think the Edge EZ was the problem now. Of course, I have the benefit now of 20/20 hindsight.

It's hardly been a long term test, but given the reviews of Dexoit elsewhere, and my experience, I'm thinking it will remain on my workbench.

 Power Puck died last night. I had just finished a radiator flush and was about to tool about town to warm it up when the CEL came on in the driveway. OBD said "P0237." I cleared it a few times. Reseated the MAP connections. Seemed to go away. Drove the truck. CEL came back on. Hit connections with a plastic safe contact cleaner. Cleared codes. Went for another drive. Truck stumbled and stuttered a little. CEL back on.

Codes couldn't be cleared no matter what I did after that. Pulled the Puck and am sending it back. Drives with no codes now, like always.

Apparently my truck doesn't like timing boxes. #@$%!

With a P0237, it would seem the PCM thinks the signal from the MAP is low, or not there.
Can the voltage be tested with the harness used for the puck? or not????
