Watch out Los Angeles

Happy Birthday to...

The last I heard there were 15 fires or more raging in california. I havent heard any speculation about how they started. Anybody ?

I haven't either. The one in Anaheim Hills I read was right off the freeway when first seen. Used to live there in the late 60's. Fairly rural at that time at least by LA standards wasn't much at all between Villa Park and Corona. Was back there a few years ago and went to the area to see how it was. Nothing but wall to wall houses, shopping centers ecnothing at all like it had been.

North winds of Nor Ca can cause some trouble. Temps of summer have dropped, but the lack of rain makes the perfect storm. My mom had to evac out of her house in Brownsville, Ca (Cascade Fire).

There has been new start up fires across Ca as well, but nothing like 2 days ago.

Our in-laws Niece lost everything in the Santa Rosa fire, as they fled with the flames at their heels. They were luckier than some though, at least their alive, some weren't so lucky.

While I don't think the state of Colorado owns it it is stationed here down in CO Springs 747 tanker that was sent over the other day

When we were incarcerated in Commiefornia the DC 10 was parked at the old George AFB now a regional airport, several others now parked at the old Norton AFB now a regional airport. its not like you can just park, service them anyplace plus the phos-check needed to have EXTRA LARGE STORAGE TANKS what better place than retired military bases of the Air Farce

The reality is large tankers are not the only answer in this situation. They are expensive to buy, operate and maintain. Helicopters with bags of retardant and smaller aircraft for water drops are more maneuverable and while still expensive, far less costly. A Canadian manufacturer makes a small turbine they call the Fireboss. They start with an Ag plane or twin engine Dehavolind airframe. Canadian govt uses them for patrol and suppression in remote areas. Short takeoff and landing makes it possible to get water from smaller lakes and rivers. Quick turn around and very maneuverable.

Fire season is over and they send everyone home. This is when we get the Santa Ana conditions.

There is no one fire season in Commiefornia, this may sound cruel but they bring this all on themselves, How you might ask?

They pay the welfare like they have a bottomless pit filled with money, they let the illegals in and do the some thing. The politicians & public servants have pilfered the coffers without prosecution that the state is broke. Where are all the Movie Stars? J low & ex greaseball Mark are sending money to P-rico, and may others that are to busy buying kids from around the world to fill their Personal Zoo / Petting park.

They should have been dealing with this for the past half Century, my parents moved to commiefornia in the early 60's NOTHINGS CHANGED.

Fire season is far from over. Sept through Oct are always hot months for incidents such as this. As far as I know, none of the Nor Ca, Cal Fire units have laid off their seasonal employee's yet, and they typically are the first to down staff in the state.

I work next to the runway at San Bernardino airport, the old Norton AFB. They haven't been as active as last year fires here in SoCal, but its been steady. Whenever I hear a jet take-off I look to see if its the fire fighters. I was just told that the family I knew in Santa Rosa, was part of the neighborhood that lost 11 lives. That shows close they were to the fire, when they fled.

I've read comments that have said that Ca deserves what's it's getting. I guess the people in Las Vegas got what they deserved as well? Pretty F'n pathetic that someone has the brass to say such horrible things. I guess those people don't have much of a conscience???

It's a terrible thing for sure, however our resources have been worn thin because We (collectively as a voting public) have spent enormously amounts of tax dollars on liberal pet projects and social programs. Those facts are not disputable, and have put pressure on our public safety and Cal-Fire agency's. Our hearts and prayers are with those that lost everything, and we have donated funds to our family that have been effected. And probably more, as reputable organizations will be emerging from the fire disasters. We already donated what we could to last hurricane victims, as many other Americans has done.

Today will be my last working day in Comifornia. Starting next Monday, I'll be working in Las Vegas. Our house just now went into escrow and We're not looking back. Our taxes will be cut in half, and the Gestapo (Comifornia DMV) will not be able to steal from us anymore.

Global warming caused little rain, everything was very dry. Takes very little to light it off. Even a old discarded glass bottle could start one with the sun shining thru it.

This is false. We had an enormous amount of rainfall this last winter, creating a fuel hazard we have't seen in years. Ca is always dry as it is more desert like than anything else. Even the Indians in my area called central valley the "Valley of Smoke" Why?.....because Ca has always had fires
