Guys,

I'm from High River, just south of Calgary by about 30 miles...

Try High River, Super 8 and the Heritage Inn

or Okotoks, Best Western and a private one, Sheep river Inn.

or Airdrie north of Calgary Best Western,

Cochrane to the west.

Strathmore to the East.

As the stampede nears the prices go up and the vacancy goes down.

Try these towns or if you are interested in High River, I can look up availability for you. .

Email me if you need a hand locally Lil dog

Looking forward to you all there!!!!

Local Yokals?????

We only have a handfull of locals showing so far and I know there are many of you lurking around. . Come on out and have a good time with some fire breathin diesels!!!!

Word is we are having an 18 wheeler race truck there, he may slide the duals on the dyno who knows.....

How about a firetruck? Towtruck? Bus?? Hey they have er' all!!

The new software controls are very impressive for the Dyno!!

Lets go Calgary and Area!!!

J-eh

Hey J-have you seen the entry list lately? I need to confirm an entry or two..... if you have knowledge of it send me a PM or email so we can chat for a spell :D

Time to bring this to the top again! Looking forward to the big weekend even though the Silver Cloud will be set on stun instead of kill :( ..... hoped to have my engine BOMBs worked through but after a ton of indecision and lots of soul-searching I decided to hold off until after the DDS to talk to some of the high power boys :D . Right now I can't use what I've got for fear of melting down-hopefully Wee Scotty will bring one of his magic airboxes for me so I can at least make a semi-decent showing!

Jason

Mr. Hansen, I am a little disappointed that I won't see that new HX-40 on your ride! Oh well, a few of us may be able to toy with you now. Anyway, I may have a few more from this part of the world coming down. I will keep you posted.

Regards, Marc

Naw Marc you'll have to wait a little longer whilst I procrastinate around some more :D ... ... seriously by Saturday evening I'll be ready to pull the pin on the new combo and turn my Visa into a big melted plastic ball! Don't take much to outrun me anyways-at 8500 lbs. full fighting weight nimble is pretty much the last adjective you could use to describe the Silver Cloud! :p If I can handle my EGTs for long enough to put up a # I'm looking for close to 350 with this setup... ... . big if though! May not be able to move enough fuel to support it either-I've got a few smaller tricks up my sleeve to accomplish before the DDS so we'll see how that works out.

See ya there!

Jason

Very close now..... 5 more sleeps until Calgary gets covered in a fog of diesel smoke! :D Should be a great time-for any of you who are still on the fence remember American $$$ go a long way in Canada and by and large none of us up here bite!

Jason

Looking forward to seeing some bombed CTD's this weekend and getting some input from those who have "been there and done that". My truck's still stock but I'm getting the lift pump replaced Thursday (4psi at WOT) so hopefully I get more than the 176/520 numbers previously shown on a Mustang dyno. Hope to buy/install gauges over the weekend as well.

See you all on the weekend, I think the weather forecast is looking good...

Hey Lil Dog, I got my FP changed at Country Chrysler in High River today, they did it no questions asked, didn't even check the pump pressures. Nice little town there, lots of CTD's I noticed as well. :D Probably see you this weekend sometime.

Sad, But That's The Breaks

I won't be able to make it Scotteh:) Tell Gary to have an extra helping of Alberta beef in my absence=)

My o-ring tool just showed up today on the UPS truck and there's no way I can make it to Call Gary in one day:eek: Further dilema, the container with the cutting tool, bits, bolts, dial indicater, etc was empty on arrival. I have no idea where my stuff is. This is about $900 bucks worth lost on some UPS truck:mad: The container came open and everything spilled out it appears:(

However, we did remove Chris Sutton's broken Dana 70 and deliver it to a yard in Sacramento for a D80 and some cash. Tomorrow the D80 goes in and once again the paraplegic red ram will breath life through it's twin turbo charged lungsOo.

Then I have to get Greg's twin turbo system built as he has been very patient with me and the weather in San Antonio. You can't believe what's transpired with the weather down there.

It's my loss fellas, you have fun:{

Don't be surprised....

:(

Jason, Scott, don't be surprised if I don't show on the weekend.

I came down with a wicked cold/flu that's really trying to kill me.

If I miraculously recover, I will show up...

Not looking promising right now..... I really wanted to see this one.

How do I catch this crap in the middle of FRI66IN' SUMMER!!!!
