California Smog check nightmare

Do you have a Smarty or access to one (borrow)? I turn my truck down to 1/2 power tune (SW0) when I go for my emissions test here in CO. They measure opacity in my county (El Paso) and even with upgraded injectors (BBi Stage 1) I have better results than when I was bone stock. Might be an option.

Even if the engine hasn't been molested there is a chance the star wheel has worked it's way forward. I have to remove the cap on mine every once in awhile and crank it back because of smoky intersections when I leave a light.
