California Smog......

I just had muy truck smogged....everyone in CA must know what a pain it is for older trucks like my 1998.5.

This is my bi-annual hell. I had to have some codes cleared/repaired....one thing the computer is doing is NOT resetting the map codes (if I'm not getting this right I'll get the shop to tell me again). There are no trouble codes, but I guess it won't pass smog. Do I need a new computer or can I appeal and get a smog exempt thing going?

Have any of the Californicated registered their vehicles in NV to get out of this bi-annual hell?

You.are not bo blowing black smoke with 275s?!!! Is the map sensor some where you can reach it. I would spray the connectors with contact cleaner.
