Competition Calling All 12 Sec. Trucks To Clash!!

We have at least 6 , 12sec. trucks commited to race at The Clash of The Titans on Sat. 6-28-03 in Houston!!Oo. Oo. The 12sec. class will be a heads-up race, so boys&girls hold on to your seats cuz this is what we`ve been waitin for!! If you have a truck that runs in this class and can come out to play please let me know if you have not allready done so. SEE YA THERE!!!!

Scott, know you asked me to come down but I'm stuck in Dallas and the truck is still down, hope to have to back running Friday but I won't make this race, hopefully I will get down there in the future, keep us posted on the 12 second trucks..... curious if anyone will do it on street (stock) tires.

As usual, I'll be working til the last minute to be up and running for this event.



It turns out I lost more than just a turbo during the Muncie sled pulls. I stripped off 4 of the pinion gear teeth on the Dana 70 as well. OUCH!



I hope everyone that talks about running 12's will actually show up and walk the walk rather than 14's or 15's like has happened in the past.



We are experiencing some E. T. killing weather right now. It's going to be HOT and humid so pulling off consistant 12's will be a feat in itself for anyone.



Jim, your trucks down? What happened? Throw her back together and come down and make a few passes. You'll be competitive even if you're not 100%. You've always wanted heads-up racing. This is your chance.



If any of you know Chip Wheeler or how to get in contact with him, please call him and invite him to this race. I don't know if he gets involved with the internet, but I've heard about his truck and I know he enjoys racing and we need all the trucks we can get.

I just got home from Dallas today and haven't even started working on it and the parts won't be here till tomorrow or Sat. still having heck out of the side cover and had two major oil downs because of it so Van Haisley gave the the next trick to try that works for them, my motor is weak enough (might be hurt also) that it has lots of blow-by and were I though I was doing good I was compounding it so this next fix will tell me more and I'm going to do a leak down on it.
