I came up with a cheaper after market solution..... now I only drive during daylight :)

But, still interested in this product, so I can start driving at night again Oo.

OK... some news. The lights should be released and available at the SEMA show (early November) with a possibility that Canada will see an earlier release. That is later than I had hoped, but I am hoping that the wait will be worth it. Unfortunately, time will tell. I may be able to get you a sneak peek before their release and I should have an idea of what kind of performance we can expect from them before that time as well. There is a good possibility I will be able to put together a group buy to coincide with a delivery time near their scheduled release. More to come... .

I dunno if I can wait another 6 months for these, but no one else is doing anything about our lights!

Put me on the list for the group buy!

I too am waiting on an update from the manufacturer. Last word was the same as before and that everything is still on track for a SEMA release. As soon as I receive some new information I will get it posted ASAP.

Me too!

I am waiting to see what happens... still hopeing to be able to get something before its to cold to go out and work on the truck!

I have been bit ... er, complaining since 2003 about the dam ... er, dim headlight arrangement on my turbo diesel. I also have the Brite Box, and while it brightened up the road immediately in front of the truck, it did nothing farther down the road. I also put in bright bulbs and no help. I came to the conclusion the problem is a design fault in the reflector system. So unless this new idea you're coming up with changes the reflector, you're wasting your time.

That is exactly the reason why our lights are marginal... the poor reflector system. This new design is specifically addressing that. I wish I had an update for everyone, but all I could drag out of the manufacturer was the november release from our last conversation. I will send another inquiry (or two :-laf) and see if I can come up with something more for everyone.

Well, MoparBob, you fix that problem and people like me will beat a path to your door if the product isn't too expensive. I'm surprised some old guy like me hasn't sued DC for selling trucks with headlights this dim. At highway speeds away from city lights they won't illuminate animals, people or obstacles nearly soon enough to get the vehcle slowed or stopped. My wife's Honda Pilot is much more efficient at doing that.

JKloppe, those are really nice--are you going to divulge what you replaced the stock hi/lo bulb with and how you did it, or just keep us drooling? Great job!!
