wow,

10 pages from the beginning (i saw this thread late) - I think about 4 beers long



I must say - I sounds as if he would take it the the next level until the supra would back out - I dont like 100 mph at night, and thats in a 6000lb truck



200+ at night would be just a blur -- 300ft a second VS the average driving lights reach maybe 300-400ft ??? -- So if something does cross your lighted road ahead of you - you have slightly over 1 second to react



Doesn't make much sense to even attempt it

I figured as such, its you guys backing out, not us. Car is in the trailer and we are ready to run tonight. Either you and Garth make it out to our previously agreed meeting place to get this off, or you back out. And don't let the dark scare you. . With a couple of decent driving lights you will be fine. We've never had a problem with this before.

What's this "car is in the trailer" crap. I thought it was a race with cars that would be driven to the site. That don't sound like a street car to me. Like I told you before, these guys come a dime a dozen. He just happens to be smart enough to make people listen to him.

Reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in Odessa, TX. Some guys from El Paso blew into town in a Chevy II with a rat motor transplant and cruised through the local drive-in where the racers hung out saying they could beat anything in Odessa. Well, some phone calls were made and, to their surprise, a AA/FD (top fuel dragster) showed up on a trailer at the appointed time and place. The El Paso boys went home poorer and wiser.



Moral to the story - there's always someone faster than you.

We made two runs with the mower.



First one on fuel only.
