so i decided to do a little "experementing" today because i got bored. . i read about some of the power gains by sliding the stock cam plate foreward so i figured hey free horsepower why not?... well i got everything taken apart and i found a number 6 on the plate... does this mean that i have a number 6 plate? anyway i slid the plate full foreward and WOW what a diffrence Oo. the truck is way more fun to drive now! this was probably a mistake because now i want more :-laf

the stock plate also has rivets on the top of the plate, and if it says 6 on top and there are no rivets then up have an aftermarket camplate. make sure the gov. level hits the bottom of the plate and will ride up the plate while holding the fuel shutoff solenoid and then moving the throttle. it is bottoms out below theplate then there are directions on how to fix on the pdr website.

heh I remember when I changed my plate from the stock to my own #10... biiig difference. . Was hard to keep myself out of the hood then. . but im ok now :D

Just watch those egt's and boost #'s. the stock hx35 will only make 30-32 without loss, and 40 at max before she shreds. . watch the headgasket also. .

good luck
