So there I was turning wrenches on the ol truck, just trying to change the rear main. I was planning on changing the cam plug seal as well. Now, my question is how do I get the cam plug out? Do I drill a hole in it to pull it out or hammer and chisel it out. Either way I would need a new plug, or is there something else to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it the same as any other plug? Cam or otherwise?? Drill two holes across from each other near the outside dia. Then insert two sheet steel screws and work it out with side cutters, no? Then the chisel method perhaps, but that generally pushes it back in further, the oposite of what we want.

Is it a seal or a steel plug???? I'm guessing a steel plug like any other engine.

I Would Like To See Pictures Of This And Anymore Information. Thanks

All the ones I have seen were steel. I'd leave it alone if it isn't leaking. If you are a worrier, put some RTV on the outside after cleaning the area. Don't leyt the RTV get thick enough to keep the housing from bolting down flat.
