cam shaft sensor code

i have a 05 cummins. my engine light has come on twice in the last 2 weeks. i have 3800 miles on the truck. i have the edge juice and attitude and a industrial injection 62 turbo. 2 codes came up. p0016 and p0034. one is an over boost code. i talked to industrail injection today and theyw ere a greatr help. i told them that yesterday i took out my edge juice and sent it back for the hot juice upgrade. and this morning my engine light came on again. they told me that with the juice out and the bigger turbo i will get this code because the juice fools the computer/map that i have less boost so i can get more. so without it in i'll get the code. but as far as the cam sensor he told me to contact edge. i never clear my codes from 2 weeks ago and edge says they don't do anything with the cam so they say they have nothing to do with the code and that the dodge dealer should check out my cam sensor. has anyone else had this problem?

Scott, just a suggestion and not too likely a scenario but you never know. .



The cam sensor is located in front of the engine, drivers side between the fan and the block... It is a beatch to get too. You will notice a grounding strap on the front drivers side of the engine. If you remove that, your route to the sensor is easy... I would try to see if your can jiggle it and push it in...



The engine electronics on th 05 are a PITA... I carry a Bully Dog Power PUP just to erase the occasional P0299 that comes up... It may be expensive, but says time taking it to the dealer... .
