ur recommendations on slide in campers!

Getting 2nd gear TC lockup with the 48RE

I have a 2005 2500 4x4 Quad Cab short bed with KORE lift and 35" Toyo MTs. I tow a trailer with my Jeep on it. I think the trailer is just under 2000 pounds (2/5200# drop axles with dual electric brakes) trailer info ... and the Jeep with its modifications weighs in around 5000 pounds. I use a 12"in drop hitch... it has weight distribution bars but haven't used them yet since I dont want them to break once I got the truck and trailer onto uneven/bumpy roads.

I am looking to buy a low profile (pop-up) slide in camper... my main requirements are that it is light, low profile, easily removed, can sleep 2-3, and must have a head and shower. From looking around on the internet I have found that Outfitter seems to meet my needs. I like the Caribou 6. 5 since it doesn't hang over in the rear BUT it doesnt have a restroom or shower inside. So now I am lookig more at the Apex 8. camper info

Anyone have a similar setup? I don't really want to get airbags but I will if I need to. Anyone know if I can tow my trailer/jeep when this camper is on without a hitch extender? I currently have that 12" drop that should keep the trailer/tongue out of the way... I hope since I really dont want to use the hitch extender. Any suggestions, recommendations, or insight? Thanks in advance!

If the weight is 1300 dry as stated, then figure somewhere around 2k loaded. That's real close to my load weight with the fiver, and my truck handles that much easily.

With the KORE you'll be low in the rear without airbags with that much weight.

I would be a little concerned about stability with the 35's, but IIRC those are E rated, so should not be too bad. May want to add a rear stabilizer.
