Does anyone know where I could find a new entrance door for the camper. It's a 78 prowler. Tried doing a search on the internet and kept find everything for a new one.

Check with the salvage yards around Elkhart, IN - they are full of this kind of stuff - be sure to measure your door and note left or right hand open.



You may have to make 'minor alterations' to fit.

RV doors and other components are frequently off-the-shelf generic products purchased in quantity by several manufacturers. Measure your door and note opening direction as suggested above then do a search for RV salvage. There are several large ones around the US. One that I am familiar with and have visited many times is Colaw RV Salvage in SW Missouri. They are on the web at http://www.colawrvsalvage.com (I think). There are several others including one or more in the Denver area. I'm sure someone will have a door for your vintage unit.



A new one of the exact size may also be available.
