Campground near Winchester,VA

I may be heading to the Winchester, VA area in early May next year (for the Apple Blossom Festival).



I'm thinking camping down there, so I need some recommendations. I looked at a couple of web sites that appeared in a GOOGLE search. One campgrounds wanted $25 to use their dumping stations.



Anyone from the area ahve any ideas?

It's also convenient to downtown.





The Battle of Cedar Creek CG is somewhat more rustic and less expensive. It's about 12 miles south of Winchester, near Middletown.



After that, you wind up in the tourist district near Front Royal or the boons of WV.



I'd take Candy Hill despite the price, but B-of-CC is ok.
