Wife out taking pictures at 5.00 am. Figured nobody would believe that we were camping in Jersey City without a picture for proof...

While driving home tonight we both remarked on just how frigin dark it is up here after several nights of city lights....

Mike I didn't know you had a slide in.

I don't get out much but from my experiences Jersey has to be one of the heaviest populated states in the country. The few times I been there I felt like a deer lost in a set of headlights.

Bought it Labor Day weekend. Been working on it every spare minute since in anticipation of this NYC trip.

No major drama during the trip, the 12V side on the fridge failed yesterday on the way home. And camper overhang slapped the two outside marker lights on the cab when we hit a big bump in Jersey. Didn't break the lenses but left two impressions underside of camper.
Going to have to increase camper to body blocking from 1 1/2" to 3 1/2"... the truck frame does flex more than one would think....

Went good considering the thing is almost 20 years old...

I'll try to add to this later on today, I owe some major time to the TDR for unfinished projects for sure.....

No. Snot photoshopped. I know exactly where this is. Glad you had a good time Mike. Jersey City is fast becoming "Wall street West". It's really getting built up.

Had a friend that camped in that same place,he was in a40 foot pusher towing a wrangler. It looked very tight

Not a lot of extra room for sure BUT for city touring it cannot be beat. Very pleased overall.

Some were pretty clever by parking so that neighbors could extend slides, etc...

license plates on units included Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Minnesota, Oregon, California and even one German rig.

Not the "Jersey City" that I remember from the "80s" for sure. No way in Hell I would have walked to the RV park from the PATH station at 11.00pm back then unless I was heavily armed and even that would not have been a sure thing.....

Major improvements to both the JC area and NYC itself.

My Northstar popup came with a 2x2 perimeter frame with a couple of horizontal studs.
It's been on for 17 years now. That should do it.

That was pretty much the same thing they said.

Mike, did you venture into Times Square at all? Manhattan is on a slight downswing. The communist progressive Mayor (who will want to be POTUS in '20) is really letting things go.
I'd say about 3-5 years ago the city was at its peak for tourist quality and safety.
