New 5r question

never been there with a TT in mind, since we don't have one. But got to tell you, this time of year it is a really great place. I like the north eastern part of the park the best; and if you are traveling the I-10 interstate, I would NOT recommend coming in the south east entrance road off the 10. We traveled south from the east Joshua Tree entrance to the I-10 when our ram was brand new, at night, and it is quite twisty. With your TT you might want to travel from the 10 north (near palm springs) on 62 to yucca valley and then go east to joshua tree, and either go in the northwest or northeast (29 palms) entrance. Hwy 62 is a steep grade, but cooler weather is finally here and I don't think it would be a problem.

I think Black Rock Canyon is the only campground that can handle a TT of that size. They do take Reservations. Most all other campgrounds are mostly tents and small rvs

Hey Bunn......

Ken, so you finally ditched that old broken down chevy and got a real truck. Oo. Oo. It's about time! Tell me it's not Cat yellow. Have you let Ron drive it yet? I haven't talked to Ron in awhile, how is the racing going? Let's get together one of these days and I'll help you spend your money on some truck mods. Surely you aren't going to that new truck stock for very long, are you?
