I can't look up first gen stuff with what I have. But for a 2nd gen 12 valve it says: Camshaft thrust plate bolts 18 ft-lbs. Crank damper bolts 135 ft-lbs. That seems high so out of curiosity I looked up a 24 valve and it says 92 ft-lbs and the thrust plate is the same at 18 ft-lbs. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

This is right from the Cummins Service Manual for 12 vavle engines both VE and P-pumps. Front gear houseing 18 ft-lb, Cam shaft thrust plate 18ft-lb, Cam Shaft gear 27ft-lbs, Front gear cover 212in-lb, One piece Pulley / vibration damper 92 ft-lbs, Two piece pulley / vibration damper. damper 148ft-lb, crank pulley 57ft-lb. Hope this helps.
