camshaft performance code

hey guys im looking at buying an 06 3500 dually for a work truck but it has a p0341 camshaft positon sensor signal, the guy selling it to me has replaced both cam and crank sensors, the ecm and jumped the engine harness the 5volt refrence the signal and even the ground, if you start the truck the codes sets and with his scan tool we can monitor the code it goes from stored to active and keeps bouncing between active and stored any ideas would really help me out i dont want to buy the truck if i cant get it right, thanks guys!!!!!

Check the wiring harnesses for chaffing. Could be a possible intermittent short. Just a guess.
