Is it possible for an injection pump that won't work with. . ahhh. . 10# of lift pump pressure still work with. . ummm. . 15# of lift pressure?

Doc

The one pump I saw fail, had great lift-pump pressure, 14psi, and just flat-out quit, and would not restart. So it was not possible in THAT case.

Later, Rob

Well, what is the pressure of the fuel after the injection pump? Be willing to bet it is a whole lot more than 15 psi. Answer to the ?... ... ... ... unlikely. :)
