Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) can anyone help useing snap-on MTG2500 graphing scanner

I have a MTG2500 graphing scanner useing it on a 2001 cummins 4x4 6 speed HO with a VanAken chip trying to get more fuel and mess with the waste gate but can't figure out were to do it at on the scanner can anyone help can I tune the truck up a little better with this

Is the 2001 throwing codes? A scanner can not turn up the fuel nor can it adjust the wategate.

no codes I thought that you could adjust the parameters

It can not adjust parameters. For that a programmer is needed.

i also have a graphing brick decent scanner but that's all it does, depending on the vehicle you can test certain systems and reset stuff to the factory parameters but no real changes
