can dealer "see" if there has been a chip

Madbomber: Lynnwood Dodge seems to be "fairly" frienldly to mild bombing as they sell afe, K&N, and some chips.



Mild :-laf well what I call mild might be wild for some one else. BTW I was taught at a very young age that if what you want to say is not nice about someone or some where it's just better to say nothing. So just read between the lines. What chips do they sell now?

ttreibel, I really don't need a dealer now but was just asking TommyGunn if he knew of one in this area. I would say I'm just pass that line :-laf of too far. You comming to the party?

I am hoping to take the trailer over for the whole weekend..... tom I will for sure be there all day Saturday it seems to be the best way to see my big brother John



BTW it is getting harder and harder to find a mod friendly dealer I am begining to think DC rewards them with $$ to void warranties. With all the fine print these days most waranties aren't worth the paper they are written on, but I'm guessing like BMW that most car makers will just start offering 5 year plans "we take care of everything" especially as the Hybrid Gas and diesel catch on. I feel most people would like to buy into a car or truck for 5 years and have the dealer just deal with it at no cost or hassal to them BMW seems to be taking this aproach time will tell if this is the future.



Saturn pioneered the no hassal car purchase now most new car dealers work that way. It seems the hassal has moved out of the showroom into the service area.....

Mad Bomber: I seem to remember them having Banks, Hypertech (or maybe Superchips), and they had one other box in the display - I just dont remember which one. When I had mine in, all I did was pull the EZ - they never mentioned anything about the AFE, exhaust, or guages. I glued a piece of velcro to a chunk of foam, and put that on the EZ velcro strips on the fuse box. Pulled the dipstick out and wiped on the foam a couple of times and it looks just like my dipstick cleaner!
