Competition Can dragracers and dyno kings sled pull?

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Ever seen one of these?

Off Roading greaseless u-joints - yae or nae?

In an effort to bridge the gap between dragracers and pullers, west coasters and easterners, (which I feel partly responsible for) I have come up with an offer to resolve the rift, as it seems it just won't quite go away. And, perhaps, show the non-believers(NWBombers) I'm not such a bad guy.

I am offering a formal, public invitaion to Scott Bentz, Fletcher, COMP 461, and even Joe Donnelly, to come to any of the pulls I am going to in the 05 season, and pilot the Sled Puller down the track, with sled in tow. I got the idea a few weeks ago, when Fletcher offered to let me race his truck, and I thought it was a great idea, and hopefully, I will get a chance to take him up on it. The only fair thing is to make an offer back.

You will also have official, limitied edition, "I (heart) Sled Puller" all access VIP badges.

It will be a rewarding exprience for us all, and I think you will enjoy the 412(?) HP rip down the DIRT track.

Afterward, we can swap Diesel stories, and make bets on how long it will take COMP to proclaim he's the fastest puller of sleds in the world. Not boast, just fact.

The offer is good for any of my scheduled pulls, Missouri to Kentucky, possibly LA and Houston.

So waddya say fellas? Bury the hatchet? Come try the real... I mean,. . a different motorsport!!

I don't know about April being a Fool but we all know Gene is.....

Gene must have gotten another sponsor to back the parts bill?

Craig

Man Gene they are hard on you...

I'll tell you what I'll do and have been thinking alot about this since last year when he never showed up at Muncie for whatever reason he had,so I will sweeten your offer a tad for the Left Coasters. Everyone knows at this time I am off work for medical reasons and will not be able to attend the Indy show and haven't been wheeling my truck around. Its scheduled appointment for work will be kept and the gentleman who is doing the work was going to take it to Indy, show it and break in the new driveline for me since I am not allowed to go. I have talked with him since you called me today Gene and here is what we have came up with. I have told him that you can use the truck to allow one of the left coasters try their hand at dragging a sled with my virgin ride. I would like personally for you to offer a invitation to Keith Lockliear to whip my ride some, heck I would even let Comp try it.

My truck will be done in time and is being sent out there to participate in both show and shine and to pull with as even I am aware to sell it I will have to show its capable of doing that. Who knows maybe someone can gather some gold with it while its out there and I am couch sitting here. I only have one request, don't let Tisdale or let the TDR's version of "Ronnie Sox" Big Wayne wheel it as I would like it in one piece to be sold while its there. Let me know and keep me up to date on who your designated wheel man will be... ... ... Andy

Can sled pullers drag race or find a dyno that can hold their big power?

Talk about an alligator mouth and a parrakeet arse. :-{}

Sleddy if you had some real nads you would throw an auto in that truck an whip some but on someone elses turf. Hollering "come get me in my home arena" is chicken snot!

As a result of your generous invitation, we thought it would be nice of us to exchange state gifts w/ you. The gift we've selected for you is our state's Goeduck. The Panopea abrupta will be most affectively utilized (for your application) when aroused. (Caution: a lanyard and ankle brace should be used) Goodluck! :-laf
