In an effort to bridge the gap between dragracers and pullers,(BRIDGE IT? I CREATED IT!!!!)



west coasters and easterners, (which I feel partly responsible for)(i HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT, SOMEONE IN VEGAS DECLARED A CERTAIN DYNO WS THE ONLY ONE IN THE COUNTRY THAT COUNTED, AND IT ROLLED,WELL, STEAMROLELD FROM THERE! I MAY HAVE PERPETUATED IT A TAD. )





I have come up with an offer to resolve the rift, as it seems it just won't quite go away. (THERE REALLY IS NO RIFT, ITS BEEN A DEAD ISSUE FOR A WHILE)((Since Thunder in Muncie 02, when the west sent their best to sled pull, and were pounded, heheheh ))



And, perhaps, show the non-believers(NWBombers) I'm not such a bad guy. (I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME POSTEING ON nwb, MAKING SURE THEY ALL THINK I AM THE ANTI-CHRIST OF POSTERS, NOT SURE WHY, BUT IT WAS FUN. I AM A BAD GUY)



I am offering a formal, public invitaion to Scott Bentz, Fletcher, COMP 461, and even Joe Donnelly, to come to any of the pulls I am going to in the 05 season, and pilot the Sled Puller down the track, with sled in tow. I got the idea a few weeks ago, when Fletcher offered to let me race his truck, and I thought it was a great idea, and hopefully, I will get a chance to take him up on it. The only fair thing is to make an offer back.



(THAT LIST OF NAMES, AS IT GOES DOWN, IT GETS CRAZIER AND CRAZIER, AND BESIDES,YOU JUST DON'T LET GREENHORNS PILOT SLEDPULLING MACHINES THE CALIBER OF MY TRUCK, THEIR FIRST PASS. THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN POINT STRAIGHT AND FLOOR IT, OR SPIN THE ROLLERS. )

It will be a rewarding exprience for us all, and I think you will enjoy the 412(?) HP rip down the DIRT track. (412 WAS A THROW BACK TO A W/E THREAD A FEW AGOS, IT MAY BE A HAIR ABOVE THAT. )



Afterward, we can swap Diesel stories, and make bets on how long it will take COMP to proclaim he's the fastest puller of sleds in the world. Not boast, just fact. (IF IT HAPPENED, I'M SURE THAT WOULD BE TRUE. )



The offer is good for any of my scheduled pulls, Missouri to Kentucky, possibly LA and Houston.

Sides, if you remember [I've heard you still have nightmares about it] it was a little single turbo'd truck that layed a whopping on ya in Muncie a few years back..... now granted, that was a street race, but he$$ I gave ya 10 seconds to get that thing spooled up & ya still LOST

I was busy.

Now here we are back at the French metric system. There was no race, per say. We were jacking the trucks back and forth, and when I realized Piers truck was ****, and there was no contest, I backed off and quit. There were witnesses, doubt they seen much cause of the smoke, though. Not sure where he thinks he was a winner??



I also had about 3000 pounds on that baby truck of his, but we won't go there, run what ya brung, and he didn't brung enough!!!!

There was no race, but my truck pulled his, easy. I left off, and he went by, so call it what you want.

I have a couple of sets of those,run the west coast,meathauler style,mirror sunglasses I am not using since I am not driving and laid up right now. They would allow you to wheel it and not be blinded so you don't run the DHRA Director of sled pulling over at the end of the track.

Your past reputation for breaking parts is even more legendary than Genes is while pulling and correct me if I am wrong are you not also the one who claims to be "retired" due to that?. I just thought I'd protect myself and my wallet quickly,LOL. :-laf :-laf .

One never knows what could happen while I am taking these mind bending,clouding my thoughts a tad,pain meds for my shoulder,who knows I may even let them pull with yours. .

I think Gene's vision of what a street race is any race in which he was allowed to win or just allowed to get in front of you to turn into the bar. For that truck to win at a drag race he will have to let me wheel it when my shoulder is better as I have already showed him how you powershift while sideways at 80mph and his fingers had a death grip on the dash . For him making a story up like that we can sentence him to a two week stay in Quebec as punishment... ... ... Andy
