Can guages be displayed on in dash tv screen?

I have a kenwood in dash dvd player with a tv screen in my truck and I was just thinking that it would be really awesome if I could somehow display my guages on the screen. Something like the Banks or the A2 from edge. I know this is kindof off the subject a little, but just thought I'd ask. Thanks

I think Alpine had some kind of an interface for that.

Yes they can be, but there are some bugs to work out! Depending on your unit there are some limitations.
