I am planning to go to fall brawl and would like to try out a comp on my 02 2500 to see what it will do with the ddII's i just installed. Anyone willing to part with one for a short while sometime that weekend.

gotta kill it somehow, lol. I am looking at the boost fooling properties and just to see how many levels i can go before clutch slips, they say you can slip it some just don't over do it and keep slipping it over and over for extended periods of time.

My clutch died with my banks box alone. That dynoed 689TQ the last time before the CON OFE went in. Now I have DDII's too and can't wait to see how much more they add!

Best wishes John. I am really happy with the power gain just off the dd II's I have only had problems with EGT's being a little above my comfort zone. I have hit 1350* and still had rpms to go before complete wind out. I would love to see what a boost fooler will do and just how much power the clutch i have will hold. The main thing is i think it is stock, however even with the DD II's and putting it under extreme load it doesn't give an inch. I am begininning to wonder if maybe the clutch hasn't been replaced by the previous owner. It is possible i suppose, although more than likely unlikely. I just wanna see what it will handle so i can base my next purchase on the info i have. also I really wanna be able to juice up some smoke for Chris (tURBOdIEZEL) just to make sure i get in the next stroker smoker vid, i can blow black, just want a bigger cloud. Don't have the funds to dyno this trip, maybe in spring.

DDII's alone put out less than the 689TQ my box did alone. The power is also alot less agressive. With my DDII"S and +- 30lbs of boost I can't get over ~1200F pulling the longest hills at wot in OD. My trailer is 6K+ and it is tall and grabs allot of wind. If I filck the switch on for the banks box EGT's will easily climb over 1400F within seconds. I have never held in it long enough to find the max possible. I'm sure it could top 1500F if I tried.

I'll lend you the Heavy Chevy for the weekend :-laf Its already got two rear bald tires. Hell, if you wreck it, its only worth about a case of Miller Lite and a pack of Camel Filters :D

I looked at my buddies 2002 dodge Cummins gauge the other day. Its the digital ones that record highest temp and boost. The egt was over 1750 and boost was over 60 lbs. He just bought the truck with the gauges and the trucks stock now. I thought those numbers are a lil above the safe limits. Just thought Id see what you guyz think he had in there to get it that hot and that much boost? Will a Hot edge comp do that? Thanks Jim

kelley good deal. I will be on the look out for ya, i figure me and chris will be riding somewhere in the near vicinity of each other.
