I've picked up an 'idle' miss in my 2005 3500. It only has 30K miles on it. It has plenty of power and seems to run normally. It feels (more than sounds) like a miss at idle only. Feels rough and vibrates more than normal. Any ideas how I could easily verify that it has or doesn't have a miss before I spend big bucks having someone look for it?

Would appreciate any help or advice.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Injector. Might try some additive, the stuff Mopar sells in the little black bottle seems to work but there are many others, if it don't level out, better get it checked out, can put fuel in the crankcase, not good. bg

I noticed this afternoon that I didn't feel it anymore. I took about a 100 mile trip yesterday. Didn't notice it then either. Will check again tomorrow. The truck had been sitting for about two weeks without being run before I had the trouble. Sure hope it's cleared up now. I guess if it's bad fuel, I've still got it.

Will let you know and thanks for the help.

Looks like it's gone for now. I'm low on fuel too so will fill up tomorrow. Thanks again for the help. Looks like I 'Dodged' that bullet.
