Just curious..... my trucks rear diff cover is just beginning to fade a bit... when dry it is looking a little orange... . can I just get a can of black stray paint and have at it????
RUST-O-LEUM FLAT BLACK been working great for me , touch things up after every oil change ! Just don't do it on a breezy humid day. Paint overspray has a way of floating around to the body surfaces. (bummer, been there and done that twice)
I just picked up some black and silver vein powdercoat that I think will look good on mine. Come the first diff oil change, I'll just glass bead 'em and throw 'em in the oven. Or maybe I'll go with one of the translucent colors... I don't paint anything that's metal anymore, as long as it'll fit in the oven. PC is so much more durable and looks so much better!
