Truck wont go into gear and it's because the slave cylinder on the nv4500 is leaking. I have another on the way but need to make do for about another week. I don't have anything else handy that's similar. Would brake fluid work for a few days?

Thanks, AC

brake fluid

Yes I believe that it will work, that is what is in there from the factory. Just make sure that you get the right DOT spec fluid put in it or you will be clutchless quickly. The owners manual will tell you which type to use.

jvanwaardhuizen is correct. It is brake fluid. DOT 3 fluid should work just fine but check the owners manual to be sure.
