I'm a dodge tech and I just went to a Cummins class last month and the instructor told us a retrofit kit is coming out to do just that. The 2005's built oct. '04 and later already have an intank pump. If a customer comes in with a dead lift pump we are supposed to be able to retrofit it to the intank pump under warranty. That's what he said anyways... still waiting to see a tsb for the kit.

If it doesn't cost an arm and a leg that is what has been needed all along!!

I recently just added a Carter pusher pump in front of the tank to work in tandem with my stock LP. With 94k Im still under warranty, so will Cummins do the retro even I addded the pusher?

Nkowing Dodge, it be a long time before there an retrofit program for the 2nd generations, I think there a kit for 3rd already.

does anyone know if the top of the tank is the same size as a gasser? i would make my own retro kit. mark
