I'm getting ready to install a fuel pressure guage and figured I would swap out the OEM banjos with Rays Banjos from Genos. Just wanted to know if any of you guys with aftermarket Banjos have had a problem with DC regarding warranty items. If not, how many of you have had DC replace lift pumps, VP pumps, etc. with DC knowing you had aftermarket Banjos or FP Guage installed?

Thanks to all members of TDR, this is a great site!

50 views and no responses, I guess no one wants to touch this one so I decided to call the local dealer to see if just the installation of a FP guage would affect my warranty (didn't mention Banjo bolts). This is what they said, "If it is determined that a failure is caused as a direct result of a modification then the failure will not be covered under warranty. " So what do you think, is he correct.

ANY failure you have will be attributed to the fuel pressure gauge by the stealers!#@$%! #@$%! If you had a transmission failure, they would even try to blame it on the fuel pressure gauge... ...

Let me guess, Tacoma Dodge told you that... . Oo. Oo.

DEZLPWR, actually it was Matson Dodge in Auburn. But I did talk to Tacoma Dodge also, they were very wishy-washy, didn't want to commit to anything, just said that they wouldn't recommend doing anything that could raise a question when it came to warranty.

i just took mine to get the fuel pump changed and i have a fp gauge on it but i used the original fittings they did not question about changing it.

To be honnest I would be suprised if a dealer noticed that you had new banjo bolt... most of em are not that observant. If you are that worried about it you could always drill out your stock set of banjo and then use them. You can get an adapter for the schrader valve on em and then you are coverd.

When I took mine in for a lift pump they didn't say a word about the new banjos.

But they did torque them to about 40 ft lbs or so when they put it back together!

using non factory wax on the outside of the truck will void your engine warranty ...

swap them anbd don't worry about it , you have the old ones , if you break down , swap it back in ...
