This is a 2017 2500.
The Perform Service prompt came up to replace the CCV Filter.
I changed the filter then went through the procedure to reset system and eliminate the prompt.
I have tried numerous time but the prompt still comes up.
At first the screen indicates "no saved messages" but upon start up the Perform Service prompt still appears.
Any ideas of what I am missing here?
Thanks
Eddie

Sounds as if you may be going through the reset to fast. It's a slow and steady press on accell pedal. Don't feel bad, took me a few tries to get it to clear as well! It'll clear after a bit, not sure how many miles before it stops, but it will.

Edit:
PERFORM SERVICE INDICATOR - RESET
The “Perform Service” message will display on the EVIC each time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position to indicate a emission maintenance is required. To reset the “Perform Service” indicator system (after performing the scheduled maintenance) refer to the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not start engine).
2. Press and release the brake pedal 2 times.
3. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.
NOTE: If the indicator message illumination when you start the vehicle, the “Perform Service” indicator did not reset. If necessary repeat this procedure. ( May need to do 3 - 4 times)

just went through this on mine. Topzide is on it. Had to do mine 3 times till i got the timing of everything correct.

I just MIGHT be that this particular Dragon has been slain.
I went at it with a stop watch----

Turn to the Run Position
Press the Brake Pedal 2 times
Press the Accelerator pedal THREE times WITHIN 10 SECONDS.
The TIMING, evidently, is critical to this.
Result is---I started and shut down the engine three times with no message coming up, at LEST for today. Tomorrow---we will see.

Now---Still looking for a solution to the trailer brake controller---see my other thread.

Thanks to all for your patience.
Eddie
