Hey!! you got something against old farts? #@$%! Say hi to your mom for me. :D :-laf :-laf

wait a sec there is one good way to get diesel to the armed forces in iraq. pump it out of their pumps it comes out of the ground there. im going to guess some has to be refined there as well so free to us or supper cheep. but that just makes to much sense. instead lets just ship the crap around the world 2xs then use it much cheeper :-laf and should we be getting there oil for like a discounted price or something like the cost to pump and ship? i mean we are trying to protect political and ECONOMIC interests here right? i don't know maybe im just cynical or old school in the fact that when you take over an area you exploit its resources. other wise its a huge drain on the country that supports the effort. i. e. England and india back when the sun never set on their empire. thank you all and have a good night just venting but also food for thought.

When my son-inlaw returned from Iraq, he said they were selling gas for . 07 a gallon. No typo 7 cents a gallon!!!! Around here no-lead came down to $2. 25 while diesel jumped up to $3. 22. Anyway, I thought diesel was a by product from the refining process of gasoline.

one place down here is selling diesel for $3. 69/g and reg. unleaded for 2. 69 :{ but I was able to find some up the road a little further that was 3. 19.

In my opinion it is just another excuse. :{

Unfortunately we all will pay the price for shipping anything, food, textiles, ect.

more than just in the tank. Think about all of the trucking that uses diesel.

My "fuel connection" here says we will be seeing upwards of $4/ gallon by years end!! :--) Sure as heck hope he is wrong for once !

think about all everything that delievers goods. the ships use #2 and bunker C, the railroads use #2

ship brings it across seas, from port it most likely will go by rail to depots. from there trucks take it to stores...

and right now, diesel is averaging $0. 10/liter more than gas... :( i was digging through some old papers and found some fuel recepts from 9/99 and the prices were from $0. 469 to $0. 569 [46 in toronto area, 56 up in thunder bay] my last tank a week or so ago i put $75 in @ $1. 039/liter :(:(:(:(:(:(
