My check engine light has been coming on a lot for the past 2 months when ever I am going up a hill or under a load at 80+mph. The engine power surges and I loose boost, and then the engine light comes on. I had my mechanic take a look at it and his book didnt say anything about that code, he said it was probably a manfacture's code and I would have to take it into the dealer to find the problem.

Im stock except an EZ

Thanks BigDan

Thnaks

0216 - injection pump timing failure = dead or dieing VP44 = $$$

0126 - Insufficient Coolant temperature for Stable Operation

Your symptoms indicate a fueling issue. Your code says a bad thermostat. Thermostat is cheap, so replace that first.
