Rear Axle - section 3: Power-Lok assembly. I would like to know the proper assembly order of the disks and plates. The plates have the tabs on the outside and the disks have splines in the center. There is also a belville spring. I think it goes (from the gear at the center toward the outside): Spring, plate, plate, disk, plate, disk, plate, disk, plate, etc.

Can someone please confirm?

I'm no mechanic, but got the book setting in front of me and will try to help but the 2001 book shows 4-different axles-9 1/4;248RBI;267RBI;and 286RBI. The 267 is the only one that refers to a power loc, the others are trac loc and I don't see any spring refered to on the power loc. If you want to walk me through I will try and help.

Doug
