... between their rims on their Gen1 dually? I need the measurement between the inside driver's side wheel and inside passenger side wheel. If you could measure at the lips of the wheels it would be appreciated.

Need it to figure out how much of a spacer is required to widen the wheels enough to clear the bed.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Mike O.

Best and easiest way would be to get a dually rear end, went through this problem with 85 crew cab

got a dually rear end with 3. 08 gears and it was way too short, it seems that there are 3 different widths in the duallys. Adaptors never work that well. But your choice.

Sorry, but I'm going to stick with this rear end...

I just spent about $500 on it (not to mention the brakes).

I measured my truck and it is 56. 5" from inside dual to opposite side, I measured were a tire balancing machine measures back spacing.

Hope it helps

Hi Neighbor! :)

I just measured mine to be 56 1/4", measured from outside diameter rim lip between the inside wheels.

Small world. I'm still looking for a bodyshop here. Any suggestions?

We'll have to get together once I finish the body work and pump/injectors.
